About Phonophobia Demo

Phonophobia is a retro PSX-style psychological survival horror game where sound, silence, and observation determine your survival.
This standalone demo serves as a 15–25 minute interactive vertical slice, throwing you directly into the opening sequence of the nightmare. Awaken with fractured memories, navigate oppressive darkness with a decaying flashlight, and use your wits to overcome tactile mechanical puzzles before the anomaly claims you.
Story:
You regain consciousness along a forgotten rural railway track beside a ruined station. Disoriented and plagued by severe memory loss, you must venture through the pitch-black facility and investigate the deserted approach to an abandoned anomaly.
In this demo, every footstep matters and every shadow hides secrets. As your sanity begins to slip, reality distorts around you—and you will quickly realize that you are far from alone.
