About Fortuna's Ledger
You are his luck.
Sir Bramble descends on his own. You never move him and never swing his sword — you are the fortune that decides whether the blade bites or glances, whether the chest holds treasure or dust, whether the trap springs. In Fortuna's Ledger, luck is not random noise. It is a currency, and every point of it is yours to spend or to earn.
The Ledger
Good fortune is bought; misfortune pays you back. Spend luck to land the critical hit or turn aside a blow, and earn it by accepting the graze, the dud, the lesser prize. Your balance is a single conserved number — borrow too deep and, at the foot of every staircase, the Audit convenes: interest is charged, and the Auditor seizes your outcomes until the books are settled. Borrow boldly, but be ready to pay.
A run through the Vault
- 24 floors across 4 acts, each closing on a boss who collects what you owe.
- 65 relics that bend the rules — some blessed, some cursed, all changing how you spend.
- A drifting Merchant, a Wheel of fortune, shrines, oddities, and an opening wager that adapts to your last run.
- 4 heroes, each with their own body and their own bargain with debt.
Prove it again
Swear Vows to twist the rules against yourself, fill the Bestiary and the Cabinet, and climb 20 tiers of Audit — a stacking ascension that makes the Vault's accounting ever more merciless. The house always collects. See how long you can keep it waiting.
