Who am I supporting?
Hey, I'm Anslo, the solo developer behind the game. I'm 33, I live in Edinburgh with my partner and my cat, and have spent the last decade working in 3D design and creative software development. Slow Roads started as a passion project back in 2021, and has always been a labour of love that I've taken great care over. Throughout the years I've tried my best to keep the experience pure, prioritising the players by refusing to put ads in the web game, or monetise it in other anti-consumer ways. Despite having millions of players each month, the web version doesn't bring any income, and development over all these years has been entirely self-funded by working a real job part-time. So, if you enjoy the game and would like to help me keep working on it full-time into the future, supporting by buying this pack would be much appreciated - thank you <3
What do I get?
This pack does not add any real features to the game, but will unlock some small supporter perks. You'll gain access to a supporters page in-game giving extra insight, images, and details from the history of development, and an additional "vehicle": the debug rig that I use to visualises forces while developing the physics. It's more of a curiosity than a vehicle, but it's a start; if possible, over time I would like to add other small perks for supporters, such as little cosmetics or sneak-peeks at upcoming features. But besides all of that, you'll be helping to support the future development of a true grassroots indie game, enjoyed by millions worldwide - and all will appreciate you.
