About Salt & Schooners

You wash ashore in 1789 with nothing but the clothes on your back and the salt in your lungs. The Pacific stretches out in every direction, a chain of more than thirty islands, each one a gamble between salvation and another slow death.

Forage. Hunt. Scavenge the wrecks. Build a boat from whatever the islands give you. Then watch it fall apart the moment the waves decide they're tired of your company. Every voyage is a risk. Every repair is a race against hunger, weather, and the next hull breach.

Explore caves that haven't seen daylight in decades. Dive for underwater loot. Raid shipwrecks. Trade with the few merchants willing to deal with a half drowned stranger. Fight or flee the tribes who don't want you on their shores. And if you finally reach civilisation, don't expect a free ride home.

FEATURES

  • Single player survival — a solo journey across a hand crafted archipelago of islands, each with its own resources and dangers

  • Boat building and repair - scavenge materials to construct vessels, then keep them seaworthy

  • Deep resource gathering - forage, hunt and dive for loot both above and below the waterline

  • Shipwreck and cave exploration - raid sunken wrecks and delve into caves untouched for decades, hunting for gear and story fragments

  • Dynamic NPC factions - trade with wandering merchants or navigate tense encounters with island tribes, through diplomacy or combat

  • Forgiving survival systems - manage hunger, thirst and health without the fear of permanent death, so every mistake is a lesson, not a wipe

  • A handcrafted world - every island is designed by hand, not generated, so exploration always has intent behind it
