About DROWSE

A few copies. Then you can go home.

DROWSE is a first-person psychological horror game set in the 1990s, where an ordinary evening at the office unravels into a deeply personal nightmare.

You play as Andrew, a man struggling with the loss of his dog, Oxmo. Work fills the days. His apartment feels empty. Getting through the routine is becoming harder.

Then a coworker calls. She needs a favor, and you head back to the office. Pick up her documents. Make a few copies. Go home.

It should be simple.

An ordinary place. Until you look again.

Turn on your computer. Make yourself a coffee. Find paper for the copier. Move through quiet offices and familiar rooms as small disturbances begin to interrupt your evening.

A ringing phone. An unexpected sound. Something that no longer looks the way you remember it.

The further you go, the harder it becomes to make sense of where you are.

Look closer. Piece things together.

Open drawers, examine objects, read forgotten notes and listen to recorded messages. Find clues, work out codes and use the items you discover to open the way forward.

Photographs, personal belongings and words left by others reveal fragments of Andrew's life. Some are comforting. Others are harder to face.

Some things stay with you.

Beyond the familiar routines lies a story of grief, loneliness and the struggle to move forward. As everyday surroundings give way to distorted memories, the bond between Andrew and Oxmo remains at the heart of the journey.
