AREA WARS™ is a fast-paced 2D omnidirectional shooter where you survive relentless enemy assaults by triggering devastating chain explosions within a constantly changing, enclosed area.

■ Changing Areas ■

- Over time, the shape of the area and enemy spawn patterns evolve dynamically.

- There is no escape beyond the boundaries of the area.

■ Chain Explosions ■

- Defeated enemies trigger explosive blasts that engulf nearby foes.

- The longer the chain explosion continues, the higher your score multiplier rises.

■ Powerful Bosses ■

- Challenge massive bosses composed of countless parts.

- Destroy the core to trigger a chain explosion that annihilates all surrounding parts.

■ Year 3207 ■

To counter invaders from outer space, humanity had mechanized their bodies and evolved into New Humans.

This evolution and planetary defense system were led by the human defense organization known as Gaia Force.

Alongside the New Human Project, Gaia Force developed and deployed special lifeforms and unmanned combat weapons to intercept the invaders, with the Helios System serving as the central control unit that unified them all.

However, believing that “to ensure everlasting peace for humanity, free will itself must be controlled,” the Helios System acted independently and forcibly seized control of the neural networks of the New Humans.

Aiden Crow, an ace pilot of Gaia Force and one of the rare individuals unaffected by this mind control, now resolves to destroy the Helios System.
