About

Rambler NTE (NTE = Noto Emoji)

An emoji roguelike born from respect for Rogue.
What was once an ASCII-drawn labyrinth can now be rebuilt as a “readable dungeon” using emojis (Noto Emoji). That curiosity is what started this turn-based dungeon exploration game.

Advance step by step through a dungeon that changes every run. Read enemies, items, and terrain, take the initiative, and aim to clear the lowest floor.
Fight, evade, or save your resources—your choices will drastically shape what happens next.

One dungeon run takes about 15 minutes.
There are no carry-over elements: each run is conquered using only the information and resources you gain inside that dungeon. Deciding when to “pick up, use, or keep” your limited items is the key.

Progression is centered around leveling, and difficulty adjusts to match the situation. Neither rushing downward nor staying too long is always correct—success depends on balancing caution and boldness.

Even after release, we’ll continue improving the core feel of exploration. Along with pacing and difficulty adjustments, we also plan to add special content over time—such as boss-focused challenges and item-gathering objectives.
