Rummy Odyssey blends the mechanics of Rummy and Rummikub with modern Roguelite strategy and the excitement of Deckbuilding. Overcome luck with strategy, manipulate your deck, and multiply your score by combining powerful Joker cards.
This isn't just a game where you lay down tiles and finish your hand it's a strategic journey where each round challenges you to build the best combinations to reach the target score.
🟢 THE GAME MECHANIC IS VERY SIMPLE
No complex rules. Your goal is to group the tiles in your hand and lay them on the table according to three simple rules:
1. Same Numbers: Tiles with the same number but different colors (e.g., Red 7, Blue 7, Black 7).
2. Sequential Numbers: Consecutive numbers in the same color (e.g., Blue 4, 5, 6).
3. Same Color and Number: Keep identical tiles of the same color and number together (e.g., Red 4, Red 4).
Match tiles, collect points, and advance to the next round. But beware: the target score you need to reach increases with every round!
🔥 BREAK THE RULES WITH JOKERS
Matching tiles isn't enough you must empower them. With special "Joker Cards" collected throughout your adventure, turn the game's rules in your favor:
- Scorers: Multiply your score with cards like "Only Red tiles give 2x points" or "Earn bonus points when using even numbers."
- Game Changers: Gain the ability to hold more tiles in hand or unlock extra options in the marketplace.
- Merge and Empower: Collect 3 copies of the same Joker to level it up, amplifying its effects to massive proportions.
🧪 POTIONS: A FRIEND IN TOUGH TIMES
Things not going your way? Stuck with useless tiles? Use your single use Potions from your inventory to change your fate.
🛠️ CREATE YOUR OWN LUCK
You don't have to rely on chance. With deckbuilding mechanics, manipulate your deck:
- Keep getting bad tiles? Permanently remove them from your deck.
- Start each run with uniquely themed decks featuring different rule sets, bringing fresh strategies to every game.
👹 CHALLENGE THE BOSSES
At the end of each chapter awaits a "Boss" stage that demands more than just a high score it imposes restrictions:
- "The Needle": You have only ONE hand to reach the target. No room for error!
- "The Eye": You're forbidden from making the same type of move twice in a row.
