About

Grand Theft Japan!

In Grand Theft Japan, players take the role of a U.S. soldier stationed in Japan, freely beating up Japanese people and doing anything in the game without facing legal consequences!

Features storylines based on real events in Japan, including skyrocketing rice prices, rampaging bears, Japanese yakuza, anime culture, and the assassination of Abe!

Ten times more absurd and provocative than Showa American Story!
(Unlike Showa American Story, which is fictional, this game is entirely based on real events.)

The first GTA without police.

In Japan, the U.S. military is the law. The Japanese Metropolitan Police don’t dare touch American troops.

U.S. forces stationed in Japan can do anything here without being punished by law.

However, players must bribe U.S. officers to enter the military base — otherwise, they’ll be sent to the Middle East.

100% based on real events.

You can smuggle rice through U.S. military bases to make massive profits during Japan’s rice price surge.

Bears may randomly spawn on the streets and attack anyone without discrimination.

Collect all kinds of strange “wooden figure” collectibles hidden in corners.

U.S. soldiers can dine and dash, but risk being attacked by the yakuza.

Drive various vehicles, including helicopters.

You can run a nightclub called the “U.S. Army Club,” serving military officers to earn money.
