About Qumino
General
Qumino consists of four game modes, each with its own mechanics. Different genres, tied together by the concept of strategy. They're meant as a balance to everyday life. Every round is unique in its own way.
Domino Mode
This mode is a classic roguelike and combines placing dominoes strategically with building up your deck. There are four animal classes that open up different strategies as the game goes on.
After every shopping phase you can widen your deck by buying new tiles and improve it — or maybe make it worse. That's in your hands.
Every third round a boss appears and makes the run considerably harder. You can also unlock new heroes who support your run, or reshape it through their ability.
In total there are 173 different tiles that can be combined with one another. You won't have all of them right from the start. There are four different colour themes with animals that share a working synergy. On top of that you can unlock 10 heroes for variety, and there are 14 different bosses to make the game harder still.
Tiles are placed on a chess-like 7×7 board.
Single Tile Mode
For everyone out there with less patience, this mode might be the better choice — or a nice change of pace. You have fewer spaces here, and you always place just one tile directly onto the board.
Tiles are placed on a chess-like 5×5 board.
Spin Mode
In this mode you spin the wheel and try to pay the rent that's due before you run out of spins.
After every round you can widen your deck with items that strengthen your tiles further. And after every spin you can widen your deck to earn more gold, or simply build a stronger deck combo.
80 tiles, 28 items and 4 heroes are available to you.
Qudoko Mode
Qudoko mode is a relaxed puzzle game where you solve puzzles that get harder and harder. Place your foxes cleverly to make progress.
100 puzzles across ten difficulty tiers are waiting for you.
