About

Take in the sights of Stuttgart with a twist, as the modern and all-new DB BR 147 for Train Sim World transforms the timetable into a modern-day perspective. From ergonomic cab to corrugated construction – expect the unexpected in a fresh Frankenbahn experience with this latest-generation electric locomotive.

Following in the footsteps of earlier locomotive series such as the BR 145 and 146, the BR 147 represents the most recent iteration of the extremely flexible family of locos which have been in service across Europe since the late 1990s. Featuring a revised cab design to their elder counterparts, and a more rugged-looking body, the BR 147 offers the latest innovations, with modernised controls, functionality and traction packages, all while offering the same tried and tested versatility. The DB BR 147s are locomotives built for passenger use, capable of 160 km/h and useful on DB Regio services in big cities, replacing older traction on busy lines.

In Train Sim World 6, transport yourself from 2000-era Stuttgart into the late 2010s with the iconic DB BR 147. As one of DB’s newest passenger locos, get familiar with the modern and screen-laden cab as you hurry south for the city with both n-Wagens and Dostos in-tow, offering a very different driving experience than the classic BR 111.

As well as an all-new modern timetable, in which the BR 147 is utilised on various regional services, go up against the odds and take on unique operations with a trio of scenarios; weather woes and convoluted convoys await!

Please Note: For the full experience, we recommend you own Train Sim World 6: Frankenbahn: Stuttgart - Heilbronn which is available as a separate purchase.
