2007 is a branching visual novel that blends psychological horror with Russian culture, in particular the online culture and chats of the ever-romanticized year 2007. The plot revolves around Grishka (a.k.a. Grisha or just Grigoriy), a regular student who scours the internet for urban legends about G — a small Russian science town in the Moscow region where he studies and works barista shifts at Moonbucks. Soon, word of a girl's bizarre death stirs up Brainbridge, Grishka's occult chat of choice. Among morgue lifehacks, foreboding tarot readings, a creepy JPG file, and an ocean of other information, Grishka must do the impossible: stay sane and find out the truth while the clock is ticking...
This visual novel is playable in Russian and English and features full Russian voice acting, a bold and characteristic art style accompanied by an atmospheric multi-composer original soundtrack, multiple endings, and a premium selection of Russian culture, from actual food to creepypasta.
